ABOUT ME
As a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW), I specialize in supporting cancer patients and their loved ones, and the healthcare professionals who care for them. I combine a warm, relational approach with evidence-based practices to create a supportive environment where you feel fully seen and empowered to take your next steps.
Research shows that the client-therapist relationship is the foundation of effective therapy. I approach every client with unconditional positive regard and warmth, creating a space where you can simply be yourself.
I earned my Master's in Social Work with a Trauma Certificate from Simmons University in Boston. My clinical background includes experience in outpatient oncology and ICU settings, as well as dedicated therapeutic work supporting healthcare professionals at every stage of their career, including a group practice tailored to partnerships with medical residency programs. This breadth of experience gives me a deep understanding of what my clients are carrying and how therapy can help them.
Together, we'll explore what has shaped you, identify what needs to shift to help you reach your goals, and build the confidence and resilience to get you there.
When I’m not working, you'll find me traveling, reading, exploring new restaurants, making art, and spending time with the people I love.
In addition to my primary specialties, I have experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and the emotional weight of major life changes — all through a trauma-informed lens.
